I think your math is off somewhere. An 8 horse trailer is probably more than 2000lbs empty, aluminum body or not, and 8 2000 lb horses would be 16,000 lbs. However, 2000 lbs would be one heck of a huge horse, 700-1000 lbs is more common (what kind are they?). Login to read more.
