Hi Brian, We have also had some of these 3.8 engines doing the same thing and they have all had high mileage. One we had was cured by replacing the mass airflow sensor. Cleaning made no difference. The Hz reading went from 2300 Hz at idle(hot)with the old sens... Login to read more.
