Replacing the Valve Cover gaskets on the 1MZ-FE is not an easy task and the book time is way off(at least is our Chiltons it is). As for the adjustment, it is recomended every 60,000 but unless you hear any ticking/noises then it could wait till 100,0... Login to read more.
