Ford EECIV systems in Australia (as they have no crank signal to the ECU) classify above 300 rpm as a valid "crank" signal. When the engine achieves 500 rpm or better, it is classified as "run" mode. Between the two figures it is classified as "underspeed mode... Login to read more.
