Noise was loudest at idler pulley mounting bolt, so I removed belt and noise stopped. I replaced the idler and noise stayed gone for about 4 engine starts, then returned. The idler I replaced did not show any signs of wear and rotated smoothly, so I wasn't sur... Login to read more.
