Re: Mahle alternator questions
Victor, hello. Some prehistoric systems used battery lamp in
parallel with resistor for the "L" (excitation) terminal. If
the lamp opens circuit then the current still had a path
through the rotor wires, so the alternator would still be
excited and charge. ![]()
