OK just to save time I did the old dog diagnosis, swapped plug, wire, etc. In reading from the Pertronix site they recommend a points coil of 1.5 ohm points style coil, or an E-coil I had a MSD E-coil laying on the shelf and it fixed it. Not sure if the cylind... Login to read more.
