will a sticking cam phaser cause engine damage?
This truck came in with very rough idle but ran great above about 1200 rpm. Had code P0022 "B2 cam timing retarded" I found the bank 2 cam phaser will not get under -34 deg. If I manually apply power & ground to the cam solenoid the cam timing will go to -80 d... Login to read more.
