Re: 12 V ON 5 V REF WIRE ON CAM SENSOR
In line with what the other Tom posted, the 'reference'
wire is the power supply for the Hall Effect circuit in the
sensor, the 12 volt is likely a diagnostic aid so it can
detect issues with that (shared?) power supply.
