I always believed LSPI was caused by excessive vapourization of the oil, especially when run hot and hard. Cheap oils tend to exhibit a lot of oil vapour when hot, as witnessed when I remove the oil cap before a LOF job. Quality oils seem to prevent excessive ... Login to read more.
