Yes, all the 6.2s I've worked on need 93 octane. I've had customers cheap out buying a 100k truck then saving 20$ on a tank using regular. I can hear them knocking/pinging under light acceleration using 87 octane. Repeatedly using 87 octane seems to create... Login to read more. ![]()
