Yup, "load-sesing" proportioning valve. They did have bleeders, and could be a PITA. IIRC, there was a 'mousetrap' spring between the axle and the valve; I seem to remember disconnecting the spring, and bleeding the valve at several positions, from no load to ... Login to read more.
