Yep, Sounds like a snapped cam. I'd peek into the oil filler cap or pull the front valve cover to be sure. We've had a couple of these at our shop, one of them owned by a fellow tech. I've also seen a few Email posts about them. Possibly happening from fatigue... Login to read more.
