Hi TDF:

Perhaps this is not technical enough. I cannot source an oil pump drive gear (on the crank) for a VW 2001 1.8l turbo. A bad hit on the oil pan took out the pump and chain and 2 teeth on the gear.

The dealer insists it is available only with a crank... Login to read more.
