Michael, you have a point about the crank bolt. 19mm? If so, I would suggest Lisle 77080 (heavy, thick wall socket for harmonic balancer/crank pulley bolts).

A similar tool helped me on a very tight (22mm?) bolt on a Toyota product. 3.3L engine I think. Login to read more.
