Short and un-technical answer: Cats. convert co, hydrocarbons, nox to sulpher dioxide. Sulpher smells like rotten eggs. A poor running engine dumping too much of the first mentioned is creating too much of the second mentioned. Cat. soon will be bad if poor ru... Login to read more. ![]()
