'Way back in the day, when the Ford flathead V-8 ruled the roost on the dirt track circuits, the overheat problem wasn't so much caused by flowing the coolant too fast. The issue was that at high rpm's the water pumps cavitated and just couldn't move the water... Login to read more. ![]()
