I was able to source copper expandable freeze plugs. They do require a bit of "technique" to install successfully. I polish edges of hole with rotary tool w/wire brush. Nicks are a no no. Nut may protrude a bit and interfere in your application. DO NOT USE SIL... Login to read more.
