In case you didn't realize it, the cross slotted part shown in your photo is a threaded bleed with seal and will purge the air trapped behind the thermostat. I don't think the oe jiggle valve is at 12 either-10 I'd guess, but the manual bleed is at 12. The jig... Login to read more.
