I adjusted them by the book at 1 full turn after I felt drag on the push rod. I know a lot of guys who only go 1/2 turn. Maybe if the engine was on a stand I could adjust with the method you cite and I've seen videos of that method. I've also saw a video of a ... Login to read more.
