Hi Michael,

Alaska. Any chance the TB is icing up? Most TBs are heated to prevent icing. PCMs are programmed to sense a possible ice condition and will violently snap the throttle blade to clear it. I'd guess 3.7 amps is normal operation and 8.3 amps is reac... Login to read more.
