Re: idle surges from 850 to 2500 RPMs
A lot of these early models used coolant to heat an internal element, the small diameter hoses can plug with neglected coolant and not heat that element. The valve stays open, the idle goes high, then the ECM goes into fuel cut to lower the idle. This will re... Login to read more. ![]()
