mixing Mercon SP and Mercon LV
Just replaced the trans temp sensor on this truck. It has a 5R110w transmission. Mitchel says it takes mercon LV but the dipstick says mercon SP. Ford dealer did trans fluid and filter 6 years / 20,000 miles ago. They used mercon sp. I found a ford chart from ... Login to read more.
