The Iron Duke 2.5L has lots of noise from the timing gears. I drove one (88 Celebrity) for 160k before the gears stripped. Put new Aluminum gears in it if I remember correctly, (maybe it was Aluminum from the factory and I put a fiber ones in, tha... Login to read more.
