I've had good luck with the 6.5 turbo version of that engine in my '93 Chevy C2500. 2nd engine, and the 1st one lasted approx. 280,000 m. Nothing broke, just using some oil and down on power. 2nd eng. was a new mil. surplus. I believe those hard to find now. W... Login to read more.
