A/C Alternating current is always retuning to zero volts. This makes it much more difficult to arc. D/C Direct current is always at it's voltage. Because D/C is always at voltage, it can arc across the terminals of a A/C rated fuse or breaker. Truthfully, not ... Login to read more. ![]()
