Pretty sure you have to reflash it. I know Jasper supplies a programmer with their engines, and I can't imagine they would do that if they could get by without. If you have access to a custom tuner like HP tuners or Efilive, they will do the trick. Otherwise, there are some box tuners such as Diablosport and others that offer the option as well. Also, if you're worried about legallity, I know for a fact that Diablosport has a CARB exemption, so it's 50 state legal.
