Re: ICE vs. EV in a stranded situation
Electric heat is basically 100% efficient. Using an ICE
engine for heat is extremely wasteful. Think of the heat
being lost to the exhaust, to the cooling system, to
radiation from warm drive train components. The energy being
spent just rotating "stuff".
