Re: Toyota Hiace random ignition advance

Hi Eric

Sorry I should have amended the file and specified what cylinder I was testing on my previous captures, but it was cylinder two. (I changed over because I wanted to see what was going on in cylinder compared to cylinder one and forgot to update the file)

Anyway I did a recapture of cylinder one to compare against Brads file. Its quite weird because the IGT is firing on the same place as Brads (in relation to the CKP signal) and the cam is in sync with the pressure TDC like Brads , but the Cam and CKP are not in sync and the actual TDC is miles away.

We are going to take the timing cover off and have a good look at the configuration again.

[Hiace cyl1 cam ckp and cylinder pressure]
