Not sure the 4.6 is like the 5.4 of that era, but I'd probably spend a bit of time testing oil pressure with engine hot. Seems like more than a few shops installed t-chains, tensioners and phasers/cam gears only to have the same issue pop up very soon afterwar... Login to read more.
