Have you tried using a scantool and bi-directionally operated the in tank fuel pump to bleed any air pockets?. I do this on the newer 6.7 Fords and usually let the pump run for a few minutes at a time, for up to 5 minutes as aerated fuel can kill the injectors... Login to read more.
