I found using a 1157 bulb works best trying to find those intermittent shorts or direct short (shunt to ground). Attach some leads to the bulb and use the bulb in place of the fuse. The bulb is a load and the circuit will be fine. Watch the bulb, when lighted,... Login to read more.
