Bad fuel cut-off valve?
This vehicle had a problem with stalling at stops. Code P1603,4,5 stored (all deal with stalling, long crank, rough run). Customer also noticed strong fuel smell. All this happened after refueling. Found canister with fuel in it. Removing vent from tank, purge and vent to filter hoses at canister found fuel in them. The vent filter is on the fuel fill neck just under the cap, is not plumbed into neck, and has fuel in it. Can see where it ran down fender skirt, the source of smell. Look like tank was overfilled to the point that it came out the vent filter. Do I have a bad cut-off valve in tank? I don't see a reason otherwise.
