Good point. Exhaust leaks will not create Nox that wasnt already there, but they will prevent it from being catalyzed, (bad mixture to ignite cat) which will make a pass capable car fail, AND they make use of gas analyzer readings to diagnose flighty to imposs... Login to read more.
