I don't know. It was only on some vehicles with the HOAT Coolant (Orange), then they went to P-HOAT (purple) and it stopped doing it on gas engines and started doing it on Diesels. But the Diesels also had an liquid cooled EGR cooler as part of the cooling sys... Login to read more.
