I can only think of three things that would prevent a hall effect sensor (that has proper power, ground, and signal) from correctly reading; 1 is the sensor is defective, 2 is the sensor to reluctor gap is somehow too big, 3 the reluctor is damaged or magnetiz... Login to read more.
