Have you checked to see what the ALT is actually puting out? 12v is 12v, but whats the number of amps is it doing when demanded? 12v with 1 amp is usesless, I'd expect to see a healthy alt when tested putting out aroung 120 amp depending on the "spec"for that ... Login to read more.
