If I remember correctly the Map Sensor in those years of Ford had a Very Heavy weight on fuel control. It was to the point of flooding and black smoke. Low manifold vacuum means lots of fuel. Easy way to tell if it runs is a noid light on 1 injector. I believe... Login to read more.
