I have seen those Chevy 1.4L have bad purge valves. They don't leak when they are off, but when the pcm starts to open it up, the valve goes to "full flow" at about 15-20%. (it's like the valve only has ON or OFF, and won't modulate at all). Pull the evap line... Login to read more.
