Ford Recall 15E06 How to confirm completed
Have an issue with a 2004 E-350 Cutaway van. we are unable
to complete the Catalyst monitor. According to California
BAR Appendix J this Van has an known "Anomaly" with this
issue of the cat monitor not completing. According to bar
the fix is to have the vehicle PCM flashed with Ford recall
15E06 I called the dealer where this van was purchased new
and they confirm in May 2016 this recall was completed.
Talking to the owner he says he has never taken the van to
the Ford dealer and there's no way the recall was ever
performed which would make sense. I called Ford Corporate
and they have confirmed the recall was performed according
to the dealer information. My question is, how can I see if
the current software has been updated? I can not find any of
the stickers for the recall on the van that I typically see
when Ford does them. I have a snappy scantool that can read
calibration ID but I do not have anything to compare this
to.
