MIG weld a washer to the stud, then place a large nut over the washer and weld the nut to the washer. I save old castle nuts from tie rod ends and ball joints for this process. Quench it quick and wrench it out. Do them all the time that way. Sometimes I've ha... Login to read more. ![]()
