As I read this thread, I was wondering if it could have a diff failure. Years back I had a Bronco II with similar symptoms, irregular bang-bang on hard accel. It had broken the ABS tone ring and ate the pieces- both caps were cracked off, pieces of gear teeth ... Login to read more.
