Re: GM 3100...lifter noise at start up
There is a very easy way to verify piston slap problems. PERFORM A CYLINDER KILL. If the noise quits, or changes while keeping the RPM constant, then the problem is in a specific cylinder. IF a kill has no effect, then it MIGHT be a lifter. Login to read more. ![]()
