Current ramping...ramping current. Snake oil?

98 Chev Venture Van 3.4L

Complaint is "MIL on" and "runs rough and dies".

On startup this thing was missing pretty hard, but by the time I got this thing in my bay, it was running pretty smooth. Darn!
