If the rims were specifically for the hubs on the trailer, I don't see a problem.. If, however, they were generics that would fit a SRW K3500 of the 80's, I'd be a little concerned.

In that weight class, there's no reason 1/2" studs wouldn't be plenty strong... Login to read more.
