Corrosion in a connector can do two things. If it is metal rust, it will conduct slightly. If it is copper fluff it will conduct at a lower amount. Commonly this corrosion will conduct across terminal pins but not to an actual connector. Weird Phenomena. Maybe... Login to read more.
