weird because I was thinking the insert isn't long enough.the plug threads are about 1 inch long, but the insert that they used is 3/4 inch long. I was thinking that that's why the end of the spark plug did that but 2 cylinders got these inserts and only one has failed. I called the machine shop last night but supposedly the machinist had the day off so they are suppose to call me back today to help me out. But I agree this is going to be a fun one to to fight for
