Look for an engine part number on the block, usually it's been on the bell housing area. Hondas are usually pretty logical in their numbers, i.e., a D16 was a 1.6 liter, etc. Back in my days as "smog guy" I used to bust the kids with JDM engine swaps all time.... Login to read more.
