Re: Alternator transient voltage spikes?
Thrown an amp clamp around the B+ output lead & scope it. If the alternator is the source then you'll see it in the current waveform. Most likely it's from something else on the car- for example ignition primary switching can show up in almost any voltage patt... Login to read more. ![]()
