It's a fair bet that any aftermarket speakers are NOT 10 ohm, so I would not assume that.

You can, however, very cheaply order some factory GM speakers that are 10 ohm though. e.g. the speakers I put in my 1970 GTO to match the OE Delco radio are 1996 Sunfir... Login to read more.
